    Neumann U87 AI Studio BK

The large-diaphragm condenser microphone most used by “big” studios – practically the studio standard for 50 years. Few studios in Hungary have one, mainly because of the price: even a used one costs over a million forints. Crystal-clear, classic sound with rich detail. We use it for lead vocals, backing vocals, rap, dialogue and acoustic instruments.

  • Neumann KMS 105 BK

Studio-quality condenser vocal microphone for stage use. Handles sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB without clipping. Primarily a vocal mic, but we also use it on saxophone, trumpet, trombone, harmonica, acoustic guitar and guitar cabinets.

  • Oktava MK 012 MSP6 stereo pair

Nicknamed the “Russian Neumann”, the Oktava microphone factory has been making high-quality microphones since 1927. A fun fact: Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, spoke his famous “Davai” into an Oktava headset microphone. Today their high-quality microphones can be found in most recording studios. We have a stereo pair in stock, used mainly for drum overheads or acoustic guitar recordings.

  • SSL BUS+

An analogue stereo bus processor built on the legendary G-Series bus compressor of SSL consoles, extended with dynamic EQ. In mixing and mastering it is what glues the mix together: a tighter, more cohesive sound without losing dynamics.

  • UAD Apollo X6/X4

16x22 and 12x18 audio interfaces with a remarkably open and detailed sound. We can record 20 microphone/line signals at the same time, which is usually enough even for a large ensemble. While recording you hear yourself without any latency, and you can even listen to a version that is already compressed, reverbed and processed the way it will sound on the record. For rap, the Auto-Tune effect can be heard live, so you can concentrate fully on the performance.

  • UAD OX Amp Top Box

Classic tube amplifiers are extremely powerful, so that they could deliver enough level even on the largest stages under the limited PA and monitoring conditions of the ’50s and ’60s. Today, however, that is increasingly a drawback: tubes and speakers sound their best when they are really driven – preamp, power amp and speakers all start to distort, and together they create the character that has shaped popular music for more than half a century. The Universal Audio OX Amp Top Box solves this: connected between the amp and the cabinet, it lets us set the volume freely without giving up the complex tone, dynamics and response that would otherwise only be available at full volume. With dozens of selectable cabinet and microphone emulations, the OX brings exceptional flexibility and variety to the studio – as if the best microphones were set up in an ideal acoustic space in front of a premium cabinet, perfectly positioned. All without the stands, extra equipment and constant adjustments. Come along and let’s create the guitar sound you think is best together. You can bring your own tube amp or choose from ours.
