Songwriting, studio work – or do you simply want to learn music theory?
Whatever you couldn’t quite grasp elsewhere, we’re confident you will get it here.
The course runs for 6 sessions, once a week in the evening from 7 pm to 9 pm, via Zoom.
Syllabus
1. Introduction, letter names/solfège, intervals
2. Circle of fifths, triads, rhythm basics
3. Seventh chords, pentatonic and modal scales
4. Tonal music, cadences, blues
5–6. Analysis of specific songs, interactive Q&A and short introductions to extra topics raised
